Q: Are your services free?
A: No. We are not affiliated with or funded by any municipality. This is a private company in Knoxville, TN.

Q: What areas do you service?
A: For Pest Control services we cover Knox County and some parts of surrounding counties. For Animal Trapping and Animal Proofing services for animals such as: Squirrels, Raccoon, Groundhogs, Opossum, Moles, Skunks & Snakes we work in the Greater Knoxville Area and parts of the surrounding counties. The bigger the job the further we will travel. We often trap in Knox, Anderson, Union, Blount and Sevier County.

Q: What kind of traps do you use and are they humane?
A: We most often we use cage traps(as seen here). These traps are designed to humanely hold the animal until we come to take it away. Since the traps must be checked daily the animal spends as little time in the trap as possible.

Q: What do you do with the animals once they are trapped?
A: Disposal of all animals will be handled in accordance to your preference as long as it abides with state/federal law.

Q: Why pay a professional instead of doing it yourself?
A: For pest services we have access to restricted use insecticides and have the proper training to apply them safely. Often, even if you are capable of handling a job yourself, by the time you purchase all of the needed products we will simply cost less because we use them daily. In regards to wildlife, many times we are called out on jobs where homeowners have been unsuccessful at catching the offending animals in their traps. If you attempt to trap on your own and make a mistake you will teach the animal to avoid the trap in the future. Even if you successfully trap an animal what will you do with it? Tennessee has laws in place that restrict the transportation of wildlife within the state. Special permits are required by the TWRA. There are areas of the state that are under rabies quarantine, if you do not know which areas are safe to move animals in you could potentially spread diseases into previously “safe” areas. You, the homeowner, are subject to the same laws that the professionals are. It’s simply not worth the risk to your health or the animals in most cases.

Q: How much does it cost?
A: Please call for pest pricing. These fees will vary based on type of service and targeted insects.

  • TRAPPING FEES: Fees will vary depending on the animals to be removed and distance traveled to perform the work. Quotes are normally given by phone after a few questions about your specific problem. In some cases we will need to come assess the situation in person to give a quote.
  • LIVE CATCH FEES: These are normally considered an emergency call (animal loose inside a structure) and charges will depend on the animal and how far we need to travel. If we get called out for an emergency, we have to drop our current call, pack up our tools and drive to the location of the call. If we get there and no animal is present or can be located – the charge still exists. We charge a reasonable fee to locate and catch the animal. It is not our fault if it is no longer there, ends up being a cell phone on vibrate instead of a rattlesnake, or it ends up being a dead battery in a smoke detector and not a bird in the house.
  • ANIMAL-PROOFING FEES: These fees are related to keeping animals out. These prices cannot typically be quoted over the phone since they are based on the specifics of the situation and what materials will be required. We will thoroughly inspect the property to determine where and how the animals are coming in and give you a quote. If accepted, we will schedule a time to complete the work or perform it at that time.

Q: Do you charge extra for after hours, holiday or weekend emergency service calls?
A: YES. We do charge more for these calls. Weekend or after hours pick ups may be negotiated into trapping programs if you would prefer. We typically close our traps over the weekends unless the customer has a special request to continue at an increased rate.
